Fantastic Apartment 60m from the Beach
10/10 Excellent
"We really enjoyed our stay at Cockleshell, the owner Sue was most welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. Parked right behind the apartment. Our dog Bertie loved the garden. Porthtowan is so quiet just as we like it, the beach is a very short walk, can recommend the BlueBar, unfortunately the Beach Bar was closed due to fire damage but will be reopened by Christmas."

"Lovely hotel stay, we very much enjoyed our stay and would love to stay again. We had a couple of small issues that were rectified straight away. Lovely and quiet in our courtyard upstairs bedroom, comfy bed and spacious bathroom."

"Lovely place, clean tidy and plenty of space for three generations.Brilliant location close to shop, beach, pub and beautiful walks.Great place for well trained dogs, those who like to explore could wander off easily though.We had an amazing stay and can’t wait to visit again."

"Lovely and clean and very family friendly with a massive fridge/freezer which is a rare thing in many big houses Lots of mugs, glasses, cutlery, dishes and pans for cooking"
Rural Barn Conversion

"A wonderful place away from all the modern noise, we had a lovely week in Cornwall and the barn was a perfect base for our days out .The whole place is perfect, the living space is comfortable and we loved the large sofa .I had several lazy baths which were a treat and the shower was lovely too.The bed was very comfortable and combined with the peace and quiet we both slept very well.All in all a lovely experience and would love to go back sometime."

"Just returned from a three night stay, everything was as great as it could be, helpful friendly people, nothing was too much trouble. Our only criticism is their sister hotel could do with some staff training, service was as good as being at fawlty towers. However idle rocks was perfect !!"
