"We had a wonderful stay at the Lugger. My Dad is terminally ill and frail. He spent many summers as a boy in Portloe and one of his final wishes was to return for a holiday. Four of us from 3 generations went to stay. From the moment i spoke to the team there about the booking to the moment we left they couldn’t have been more accommodating or understanding. Every member of staff went the extra mile to help him. It was a fantastic weekend to relax and enjoy the hotel and the area with several great meals, good wine and fantastic breakfasts. It all made my dad so happy and created great memories for us all. I highly recommend and just want to say thank you. "

"Faultless one night stay. A good location with free parking, basic and room for improvement but it was comfortable and for the price you can not argue. I would stay here again if passing through Truro for one night."

"Upon arrival we we greeted & shown to our room. The room was excellent, very spacious and clean, just what we wanted. After a good nights sleep we had breakfast in the bar and was pleasantly surprised to find that we had a choice of breakfast, we ordered a full English and avocado on toast with poached eggs & bacon. The food was cooked to perfection and was thoroughly enjoyed. The staff were really friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome. I would highly recommend the Victoria In. Location great too with a bus stop outside if you don’t want to drive and a co-op next door for essentials."
