"I had a very unpleasant experience at this hotel and would not recommend staying here. To begin with, the lobby being located on the second floor made access difficult and inconvenient. Upon arrival, the staff was immediately rude and unwelcoming, which made me feel uncomfortable during check-in. When I entered my room, there was a strong musty odor. The bathroom was clearly not properly cleaned—the shower door and knob were covered in soap scum, and there was hair in the shower. The bed was also not adequately prepared, with only a mattress pad and a top sheet. I attempted to call the front desk using the room phone, but it did not work. I then had to go back down to the lobby to report the issues. When I explained my concerns, the staff member responded dismissively, stating, “Well, there’s no housekeeping here, so I don’t know what you want me to do.” I asked for cleaning supplies so I could address the situation myself, but she again responded in a condescending tone that she had no access to any supplies. When I asked for clean sheets, she told me I could come back down later to get them. I then requested a room change, but was told no other rooms were available. While I was still at the desk, another guest began checking in. I advised them to inspect their room before settling in, based on my experience. The staff member then said to them, “Don’t listen to her, she’s just mad,” which was extremely unprofessional. Finally, when I asked for a refund, I was told I ha"

"Impressive lobby and pool area. The ocean/beach area is run down and could be nice if they would rake it and spend an hour a day working on cleaning up the sand. The cement around the pool is chipping and hurts to walk on. An awesome free breakfast. We ate lunch 3 times from the pool bar and had dinner 4 times in the lobby. All meals were excellent. Room was big, but slightly dated (didn't bother us). We heard no noise of other rooms. We went mainly for a nice beach and nice pools. I would go back. Good for kids and very nice to have good food at the hotel for dinner. "

"No one to greet us on arrival, not that big of a deal but was a red herring of what was to come. Staff made an error in placing a hold on our card on arrival and so we kept having daily unexplained charges on our cc including bar and restaurant charges that were not ours. Additionally they put an extra 500$ hold on our card again even after speaking with management. Needless to say it wasn’t a relaxing stay wondering if we were going to end up paying a huge bill that wasn’t ours. Staff was rude while dealing with this situation. Also, for the price the beds and pillows were not comfortable. Power went out one night and then internet as well which is a bummer when we were watching a movie. Staff in general seemed uninterested in helping guests. They must pay terribly which is sad for what they are charging guests. "
