"Lovely room (206) on the ground floor with sliding patio door to access the peaceful courtyard (water, fountains, small trees) and chairs to sit on your own small ‘patio’. Spacious room, great en suite. Food excellent (Catch of the Day fish and chips - hake in our case - better than Rick Stein’s Takeaway version in Padstow) Hotel in a lovely setting. Great sunsets. Spa, pool and changing room (Ladies’ - didn’t see Men’s side) spotlessly clean. Friendly, cheerful staff happy to help and can’t do enough for you. "

"Staff and the quality of the food were the only positives. General maintenance and cleanliness were extremely low with our room having a broken window hinge, the bin lid broken off, spit covering the bedroom mirror, the bath taps being brown around the outside, the toilet seat being the incorrect size for the toilet and the bath clearly had had a water leak that had damaged the side and not been replaced/covered. The spa was equally as bad with scum marks around the hot tubs and general lack of repair and maintenance in all areas... A toilet door lock came completely off in my hand!"

"I have stayed at Inglewood Manor many times. The grounds are spectacular and a true "heaven" after a hard day’s work. Rooms are outstanding and clean with firm mattresses that are just right for me. WiFi was OK. However, service this stay was a let down. At check-in, there was an issue with my Expedia VIP voucher. I find it frustrating that Expedia advertises these if the hotel doesn't honor them. I got frustrated because of the principle of being promised something. The staff member eventually offered their own 20% food and drink voucher, but he should have led with that to avoid the frustration. That evening, I wanted to eat on the garden patio. Reception didn't know if I could have restaurant meals there and couldn't be asked to find out, telling me to ask the bar. The young bartender looked at me blankly, said he didn't know, and just pointed out the lounge. When I repeated I wanted to eat outside, he finally said he would find out. I took my drink and waited, but no one ever came back. Since I had my laptop out, I wasn't going to pack everything up to ask again, so I went to bed without dinner. Breakfast was good and staff there were friendly. At check-out, I was told the voucher should have been given to the restaurant. They discounted the drink but not breakfast, claiming it "wasn't at their restaurant." It is not about a measly few pounds, but the principle. I love staying here, but the staff were very hit and miss this time."
