"The hotel felt dingy and unclean.
I'm sure it was nice one day, but that day was a long time ago.
Also the access code to the room keys was left on the unattended reception with a list of the guest names, I'm certain this against data protection laws."

"On arriving the location was great, parking was good as it was roadside. We were greeted by weeds to the front and filthy guttering. We couldn’t get in the door as the key lock wasn’t working so we rang the number and the spare key was under the plant pot by the front door. On entering the property it was very grim , not clean at all. Things were very grubby like cupboards were greasy and dusty. "Comfortable bed, and very convenient location. TV and wifi worked well.
Had to ring to ask for towels, which arrived a little while later.
The room was very damp and parts of the carpet were wet. As there was no heating on in the building everything in the room got damper. I could not have a shower on my 2nd full day because there was no way the towel from the previous day could have dried out.
Shower barely warm even when turned up to max heat."

Having stayed at The Orange Tree in the past many times, we were really pleasantly surprised to find that they had expanded their accommodation to include the conversation of two cottages next door. It was in one of these that we stayed. The rooms had been so tastefully done with all the amenities that you could wish for.
With the most wonderful beach in walking distance we could not find a better place. We ate in the pub the first night, but as the menu was somewhat ’fancy’ we did try another...
