The staff were very friendly and accommodating (coming from someone who doesn’t speak nearly any Japanese). The dorm areas had cleaning staff going through everyday ensuring garbages were emptied, bathrooms, floors, etc.., were clean. Only a 5 minutes walk to Iriya station so very easy to get around Tokyo. I had no troubles with noise from other guests, everyone was very respectful and considerate. Having to switch to paper slippers every time you enter the hotel is a little inconvenient and that you have to dispose said slippers every time you leave the hotel feels pretty wasteful. If you're unlucky, some guy near your bed snores at night, audibly struggles with a cold or is unnecessarily noisy in a different way.
