"The location of this hotel is terrific; tube station around the corner, walk 10 minutes to the Tower of London, overall great spot. Staff was fine, we had to ask for things multiple times, there was always a lot of staff in the lobby but it was kind of messy. Very strict on the 3 PM check in, no early check in unless you paid for it. Also asked how much for a car to the airport and head bellman said 110 gbp. Then asked how many people,I said 2 with just hand luggage and he said,I can do it for 105. Felt a little shady, especially when an Uber was 62."

"The hotel is in a relatively quiet street and having requested a courtyard room it is probably one of the quietist stay I have ever had in London. The hotel is new modern and immaculately maintained, every staff member engaging and well informed. Rooms are on the small side with the sink in the room and the toilet shower in a self contained unit. It works fine and let’s face it when in the city you’re hardly ever in the room. The bed is very comfortable and huge but you are unable to walk round it so this might cause customers with mobility issues a problem. The bar / work/ chill / restaurant are is large and very quirky. Bar stays open till 2am if you’re that way inclined and staff are fab. 10 minutes walk to London Bridge underground station. Definitely be back"

"The executive lounge area opened late regularly .. Cocktail hour started 30 mins late. They also closed it regularly by 945 Marina at the front desk was fabulous"

"This is a really nice place. It’s right next to the Excel center, so it is absolutely ideal if you are in London for an event there. The DLR station is right next to it as well, so getting anywhere in London is super convenient. The restaurant is really good too. They take their time with food preparation, so don’t be in a hurry, that’s all. The chicken supreme is highly recommended. The breakfast is a buffet with a ton of popular English breakfast items. Just make sure you opt for adding breakfast at the time of booking, as it costs a LOT more if you pay for it on the day of. I will likely stay there again next time I go to London even if it is not for an Excel event."

"1st time stay at this hotel chain. The energetic design is very functional. Though it's aimed at youthful clientele, I was made to feel welcome despite being decades older than the average guest. Variety of lobby spaces also useful (lounging, deskwork, etc) . Would definitely stay again."

"The room needs a good clean very dusty. Two of the walls in our room 407 really needed replastering but the bed was comfortable and the shower was great. We went for a meal in the restaurant and had to go and fetch someone to serve us then had to wait 15 minutes for our drinks and only then when once again we went and fetched someone. The staff were very apologetic and helpful."
