"We booked the room, due to holding an event in the rum warehouse. It was exceptional from the staff to the amazing communication nothing was at fault. The breakfast is hot and fresh with lots on offer. Thank you to Chloe, Daisy, Sas and the rest of the team your customer service is amazing. Not forgetting the rest of the staff groups. Sadly we didn’t get to sample the spa but guests who we bumped into said how gorgeous it was. Hopefully see you all soon. Natalie & Andrew Smith"

"The hotel is closing this Sept for a two year renovation. Some staff have already left for other city jobs. Both sink and bathtub did not drai well. The room tv was so small it was almost impossible to see. No bar soap provided. Asked for a one hour late checkout and it was granted but almost begging. Good location. Dave in the restaurant was good as well as both doorman. Possible maybe second stay but only after renovation."

"The hotel is beautiful and the bar /restaurant serves amazing food and drinks. Only negative was how small the room was, we booked a classic room and since the rooms are most likely different shapes / sizes we were unfortunate to receive an awkward sized room in which it was difficult to just walk around the room without feeling like you were knocking into stuff "

"The hotel was very central for what we needed. Although the staff were polite there was no other interaction. Even though I checked in online I still waited 19-15 minutes to get the key. When I mentioned I had added breakfast on and needed to pay for it as the room was pre-paid. He had no idea!. Then looked and apparently found the note. We asked for another bulb for the lamp in the room and was asked whether we tried all the other sockets first. Yes we had and then tried the bulb on the other lamp which worked. It was clearly the bulb. Maybe because we were two girls he thought were couldn’t work that out. The hotel definitely needs updating. A lot of peeling paint in the room and bathroom. Breakfast was lovely. Lots of choice. "
