"The Bellhouse is a wonderful place. The house is incredible - so much character and so much more spacious than shown on the pictures. We were 5 women escaping for a much needed reconnect and the bell house was just the job. Joe and Jen were super friendly and always on hand for anything we needed. The grounds are incredible - the gardens themselves but also the woodland in which the property sits. There were plenty of walks to be done straight off the property and lots to explore in nailsworth and nearby."

"The setting in a historic mill was fabulous , full of charm and character. The sound of the water was relaxing and atmospheric. Staff were helpful and polite and our room was huge and comfortable though would have preferred to be in the main building and certainly not underground as we were in room 30. It was disappointing that a cooked breakfast wasn’t available until the third day and we hadn’t been told this in advance - unclear communication! We’ve been assured that Expedia will refund us £60 ."

"Very comfortable cosy cottage which has been decorated with care. Good kitchen equipment and plenty of crockery which was nice so you still had some left when the dishwasher was on! We were also prepared for steep stairs and the upper level bedroom stairs are very steep! We bought some extra logs from the community shop which was brilliant and just up the road and had a cosy log fire on many of the evenings( as well as the central heating!) The shop was convenient for food supplies too. Some lovely walks from the cottage. Parking outside was fine but may have to find one further up the road if it's summer and you have two cars."
