"Nice affordable property that is conveniently located to many dining and music spots. The room was a nice size and had a fridge and microwave. The menu for the on-site restaurant didn't look appealing or well priced, but many options nearby to offset that. The rooftop is a nice place to unwind. We would stay here again."
"Hotel was actually pretty nice and staff was friendly. Call outs - no parking at the hotel or affiliated lot. There is a lot right next door for $50/night. There is a cheaper lot a block down and over but was advised it’s a sketchy walk at night. Walking north seemed to be pretty safe but a couple streets down… hundreds of unsheltered lining the streets. Not sure what keeps them south but was absolutely amazed to be honest. Probably would stay again as long as the price stays competitive. "
"Always enjoy the StayPineapple experience. This was a great location, just a few minutes walk to Union Square. The cruiser bikes were a fun way to explore the city."
"Great location, convenient for shopping and dining, wonderful and friendly staff and overall fantastic stay! This is my go to when I’m in the city as it’s easy access to transport, restaurants and shopping. "
"Clean room, helpful staff, good water pressure, comfortable bed, nice amount of space, good safe, nice fridge, only negative was that the room was a bit noisy - could just be that I'm not used to air conditioning noise though."

"This property is in a great location! Short walk to Pier 39, the cable cars, streetcar stop right up the street. It was perfect for our 3 day vacation in San Francisco. The staff checking-in, at breakfast, and the bar were all fantastic and incredibly friendly and welcoming. The breakfast buffet is top notch and really helped start our day off. The room was nice. Would stay here again and will recommend to anyone. "

"From the moment we walked in, we felt safe and well taken care of! Staff is all friendly and helpful. The property has the old glamour of the grand hotels of the past with all of the modern comforts and amenities. Resort Fee gets turned into a hotel credit to spend at restaurant. Love this place! Check out the little french cafe across the street at union square, lovely indeed!"

"Historic hotel in a nice part of SF, easily walkable to central areas, close to cable cars which can easily take you further quickly. Safe area. Some parts of the room were a little tired but I think that comes with the overall age of the property"

"I had a room with bay views and it was not disclosed ahead of time by the hotel or Expedia that there are party boats on the weekend at the pier across, and they play very loud music at night. I called the hotel front desk staff and they said the loud music goes on until 11:00 pm on Saturday nights and there is nothing they can do about it. It was hard to relax and fall asleep. I would not stay there again. I am disappointed. "
