"I booked the Grand Suite the room was lovely. I was spoiled with 2TVs 2 coffee making facilities and a lovely balcony. The views were great, the grounds well cared for I usually stay at the Hilton in Cheltenham so this made a pleasant change. At home I have a shower and therefore whenever I am away I always without exception book a room with a bath. It’s my special treat to myself time to relax and unwind. I loved this bathroom, it had twin basins, even a bidet !!! Unfortunately, imagine my total disappointment when the bath tap just dribbled out lukewarm water ever so slowly. It took almost 20 to fill the bath then of course the lukewarm water was even colder as it took so long to fill up. So my indulgence went out through the window leaving me very frustrated. 😩 I didn’t bother to complain at the time because I knew it couldn’t be fixed also being fully aware that this was the only Grand Suite with a balcony. Worse was to come when I tried to shower. This again was at a pathetic speed. The temperature was better but really difficult to capture the correct warmth. It seemed either too hot or too cool. The other slight disappointment was the ‘vibrating pillow’ device. I naturally assumed it was a pillow that vibrated. However, I was given a Deafguard a huge thing that looked like a small old fashioned phone that you put under your pillow. It’s for deaf people so they can hear the hotel alarm going off. Needless to say I wasn’t impressed for the £245 paid for one night"

"Proximity to centre of Stratford was excellent. Room was a good size, clean but slightly dated (I think that there is refurbishment work going on at the moment). Really good value for money and added bonus of cheap parking and electric charge points in the car park. Would definitely stay at the Swans Nest again."

"Lovely spa, but housekeeping needs improvement Overall, we had a lovely stay and really enjoyed the spa facilities. The hotel has a lot going for it and we had a relaxing time. Unfortunately, the biggest disappointment was the cleanliness. The room was not cleaned to the standard I would expect from a hotel and spa of this level, and the rooms themselves are starting to look quite tired and would benefit from refurbishment. It is a shame because with better attention to housekeeping and some investment in the bedrooms, this could be an excellent place to stay. We still enjoyed our visit, but the cleanliness really needs addressing."

"Great hotel. Really clean, excellent staff and a wonderful room (classed as a superior room). Be aware there is no onsite parking but the team will point to local overnight parking, if a place on the street isn’t available. Despite this, definitely a visit again."

"Parking available at £10 per night The room and breakfast were fine. Bathroom design is very snug. More staff are needed but the staff there are very helpful and hard-working. I’ve started there are a few times for the different festivals. It’s a perfect location."

"Lovely convenient hotel. Super location and easy to get to the main part of Stratford. The hotel is clean and has ample parking at the rear. The room too was clean. But is literally a bed. A couple more things would have made our stay more comfortable. Such as more than one pillow each, a mirror in the room would be good also just a bin. There are no hair dryers or iron in the room. On whole a good hotel for a short stay."
