Travel cot, highchair and stairgate available. Welcome pack. Front garden with patio, sitting-out area and garden furniture. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. This lovely, detached cottage offers guests a fantastic base in which to explore this lovely part of the County, the property is set close to the historic town of Ironbridge which is a World Heritage Site.

The towns of Shrewsbury, Bridgnorth and Much Wenlock are all close by and all offer plenty for guests to see and do including many independent shops and restaurants, along with access to the beautiful Shropshire Hills and many more National Trust and English Heritage sites. Telford town centre is just a short drive away and is home to family attractions including Telford Town Park and the children’s playground Wonderland, as well as restaurants and the town centre. For those looking for a day out shopping, Shrewsbury town is half an hour away.

Shropshire has an array of outdoor activities on offer including kayaking, canoeing, cycling, walking, gliding, golf, fishing and horse racing. The area is never short of places to visit with a plethora of castles, abbeys, farms, museums, discovery centres, gardens, parks and historic houses.

A very attentive host

Liz provided a lovely welcome pack for us on arrival. She was very attentive to our needs throughout. Communication before arrival was comprehensive and allowed for easy self check-in. She unhesitatingly helped sort out the WiFi and anticipated our need for an additional dining chair for a visitor, amongst other things. While very attentive, she was by no means intrusive. The house is spacious, warm and well equipped. A good stay!
