We had a fantastic time at the Lords of the Manor, it really is an exceptional hotel. A very relaxed atmosphere and the staff make you feel at home as soon as you walk in. They were especially accommodating with our dog who stayed with us. The hotel gardens are huge and we’re a lot bigger than we thought, stretching down to the river. It’s a great place to explore the Cotswolds.

The room was spotless beautifully furnished. We had endless tea, coffee milk and biscuits. The staff could not have been more helpful nothing was too much trouble The restaurant and bar was clean and very comfortable. The food was fabulous, well prepared. Added to all this you have a very large car park Would recommend this hotel and give it 10/10.

Excellent ! We will be back… we were stuck in traffic so ringing ahead, we were able to order food and they kept it warm. My partner, tired from a week in hell at work knocked her wine over..another appeared as if by magic. I had to make an important call … they, without being asked turned music down.wow. The staff are amazing, as are the rooms, bed, bathroom and food..we will be back ! Many thanks guys.

This hotel is worth ten stars, the staff are so professional and friendly, food is amazing, spa is upkept to perfection standards and extremely relaxing, all set in the the most beautiful surroundings. Beds very comfortable, especially the pillows, rooms are large and when you drive away from this piece of heaven, you start booking your next stay in your mind.

Anniversary weekend. Very nice hotel with character and good service - just what we were looking for. The room was super, the hotel serve fantastic afternoon tea and we loved the quiet library and the little sun-trap on the library terrace. Would have liked fluffy bathrobes, but can't think of anything else to improve. Be warned: - The bed was hard (which we like/prefer) but large and comfortable. Absolutely lovely stay at The Royal oak. Beautifully decorated throughout, with a really warm and homely feel. Staff were welcoming, dinner and breakfast were first-class and my room was spotlessly clean with a great bathroom and comfy bed. Would definitely return, I stayed for work but it would be a lovely place for a weekend away.

Stayed for 1 night in this lovely hotel. Room was very clean and had all the amenities needed. Staff were very friendly and always on hand to help. Food was excellent both in the restaurant and breakfast. The hotel is set in a beautiful location with lovely walks on your doorstep. We will definitely return

Staff were lovely. Had a long drive and arrived on the cutoff for ordering dinner, but thankfully the staff were kind enough to still let us order. We had both dinner and breakfast, both were absolutely delicious. There was some games we could borrow which we enjoyed playing in the bar, only small disadvantage is the bar closed at 10:30. Room was very clean, stocked with tea and coffee and the extra pillows in the wardrobe was a nice addition. Overall, we had a very peaceful, relaxing stay.

Great Pub vibe, staff are all friendly and helpful. food is fantastic, rooms have everything you need and at a reasonable price definitely recommend 👌

Bed was very comfortable and the breakfast lovely.

This was our first visit since the change in ownership. Really enjoyed our stay and had a lovely room and breakfast. Couldn't be tempted by the menu for lunch and dinner though - apart from the scones. Fortunately there were lovely options (The Green Dragon and Knead) nearby which we felt were more us and better value. Please sort out your menu, Cowley Manor!

The Malmaison oxford is so far one of our best stays we have had in the uk! The hotel is a stunning renovation from a prison to a hotel that my now fiance just loved. The interior is stunning and classy with such helpful staff that took our car and parked it when we arrived, making us feel like Royalty. The Junior suite was breath taking with so much space, large bed, large tv, comfy and stylish seating and a large double shower to top it off. although we didn't eat in the hotel we did visit...

Great find. Hotel absolutely superb, extremely clean rooms and very comfortable beds. The owner (Alistair) and the reception/breakfast staff were exceptionally helpful and attentive and could not do enough for us. Small bar available to round off the day and lovely breakfast to start the next one. All in in would highly recommend this hotel.
