"Our room was directly above the bar and it was extremely noisy impossible to sleep. Also the drying rack never heated up. The fellow who checked us in was very sweet even carried our backpacks up to our room."

"Rooms are very clean and have everything you need. Beds are very comfy. Only problem was how loud the room doors slam, very annoying for getting a good sleep and can be quite loud if your room is facing onto the car park as the bar area gets busy and a lot of people stand outside to smoke etc quite late at night. Other than that, great place to stay with great amenities"

"Really run down. Dirty carpets. Damaged bathrooms. Lime scale on showers. Rooms smelt. Corridors are dirty. Would not recommend "

"Great room,clean, comfortable and perfect for our one night stay. Great bath and shower with plenty of hot water. Enjoyed a lovely carvery meal in the evening but skipped breakfast as we had a long drive. Food menu very comprehensive and very reasonably priced. Lovely staff."

"Clean room, no air con though. Staff very friendly and helpful. If you’re going swimming you’ll need to step outside for a few seconds. Worth mentioning in case the weather is bad. "
