Crowne Plaza Stratford Upon Avon by IHG

10/10 Excellent

"Bedding in a new check in system was a bit of a delay and a pain however staff persevered and remained cheerful. Food v.good as were rooms but showers over bath is so outdated and a definite obstacle for those over a certain age . Bar prices somewhat on the high side Overall a very good experience, parking charge expensive and refundable for those staying overnight maybe hmmm!"

The Stratford Park Hotel & Golf Club

8/10 Good

"We stayed for two nights and had a pretty good stay. On arrival we were given a room that on the face of it seemed good. However when I check on the booking we had paid for a junior deluxe room and the photos showed a very much better room. We went back to the reception and after some checking were taken to the room we should have had, whet a difference! We got there in the end but were disappointed that we had to challenge to get the room we had actually booked. Otherwise nice stay but a little expensive (£174 a night) for what you get."

Macdonald Alveston Manor Hotel & Spa

"Overall, the hotel is quite nice. Unfortunately, it’s challenging to contact the front desk from the rooms and we had to request three times to get a second set of towels for the two of us. The air conditioning wasn’t turned on so the room was quite stuffy as the windows do not open. The location was superb, the staff friendly, and the room was comfortable. Overall, a nice experience."

The Stag

"Firstly, the property is really inviting. Beautiful grounds, play area for children, lots of outdoor seating and after entering you’re greeted by the staff. Very friendly and outgoing but not overly so that it feels forced. Great atmosphere and the food was excellent, I’ve eaten at many restaurants but I would definitely drop in for a bite to eat if you’re in the area. The rooms are clean, spacious and well decorated in theme of the Pistons Club. Overall, definitely somewhere I would stay/visit again"
