"The receptionist was so friendly and welcoming (sorry I didn't catch your name). Was just my young son and me; I felt very safe and comfortable at this hotel. We also loved the pool; it had hardly anyone else in it."

"The staff were exceptional and all without fail very friendly and helpful. The building and grounds are stunning, really enchanting and peaceful. Food was very good, wine was excellent. The room I stayed in was a new room (Room 20). Others in my family stayed in room 18 & 19. All were excellent. They were all a large size and very well appointed with quality touches. Very clean room and the bed was so very comfortable!! The chef baked my mum and dad a special diamond wedding anniversary cake, at my request, and staff went out of their way to ensure the celebrations were special. Overall we had a really positive experience and I would certainly stay again."

"Staff are amazing, food at the restaurant is very tasty, plenty of choice,not overpriced. Bathroom has hand soap and hair/body wash, no body lotion nor hand cream. Tea/coffee facilities in the room, with biscuits. Very clean,would definitely ho again"

"Great staff, friendly and professional. The shame is, in spite of spacious rooms and comfy beds, you can see it is a tired building. The bar shuts at 9.30 so best be out and about, which is easy as there are so many great dining and bar options. Uber works well there too. We would probably stay again but would prefer the building had some investment to address the obvious wear and tear."

"The interior is way better than you’d expect given the exterior. While the pool is not large, you do also get a sauna and steam room. Huge exterior space too with nice views. Definitely recommend it."

"Lots of space in the car park which is so needed in Stratford! The room was a Tudor room, small but well laid out with everything we needed. Breakfast was tasty. Fantastic location."
