We had a lovely stay and really enjoyed the beautiful area. It was a lovely touch to have a breakfast box provided for two, with porridge pots, apples, and pain au chocolat. The room also had tea and coffee-making facilities, which could easily be topped up at reception, along with some lovely cookies. We appreciated the nice bottle of cold water waiting for us in the mini fridge. Overall, a really positive experience with some thoughtful little touches that made us feel very welcome. We would happily stay again!

What a lovely find! We booked last minute and mainly chose the hotel from the positive reviews. Good location, free parking and very spacious room. They don’t do breakfast but there is a fridge and they also provided porridge pots which was a lovely touch. Good quality tea & biscuits too! We would definitely recommend and if we are in the area again would stay again.

Great location, close to town centre ! Don’t like that there are no staff here , if any issues just a number to call. Room atten came I. Once in our 3 night stay, that said , the hotel is nice. Plant of car parking! And aww would return, just a few tweaks would make it perfect ! Well Worth a stay

Great hotel, they concentrate on what’s important, the room. It’s large, comfortable and clean. Only minor issue is the TV is old and has only the basic channels but hey if you are watching TV for any long period then you should probably stay at home rather than visit gorgeous Stratford.

There is no one to check you in or ask questions to until after 5 pm or so. The front desk isn't staffed in the morning but I finally found someone cleaning a room the following morning. He told me they would not store my small but somewhat heavy bag for pick-up after 5 pm when a front desk person would be there. I said I didn't mind waiting until 5 pm to come back for the bag. He then changed their excuse for refusing to hold the bag to "we can't be responsible for it". I wasn't asking them to be responsible for it. As a result of this I had to carry the bag around all day in town. This is the first hotel I've ever stayed where they refuse to hold your bag for just one afternoon for you. Even the YHA hostel down the street has lockers (for a price) to hold your bags on days where you're changing rooms or checking out. This cruel policy forced me to carry the bag around Stratford all day until I could check in to a different hotel after 3:30 pm. None of the historic exhibits allow a bag to be carried into them, so I couldn't enter them until I checked myself (and the bag) in to the next hotel after 3:30 pm, by which time there was almost no time spend in any of the exhibits before they closed at 5 pm. Now I know where not to stay for any future visit.
