In the centre of the vast Haguenau Forest, it is a great place to join the hiking and cycling routes that pass by the town. There’s also plenty to do in the pedestrianised town centre, which has many bars and restaurants and also hosts a twice-weekly market. Do pay a visit to Haguenau’s Alsatian Museum, which puts the area’s history into spotlight, especially the periods which saw the town passed between France and Germany

To the west of Haguenau, the Regional Nature Park of the Northern Vosges is a popular hiking destination. You might also enjoy the mountains in the winter for the snow in the numerous ski resorts.
