"So, I appreciate that this is a “budget” hotel (although I felt the £107 per night price wasn’t overly budget!) but my room basically consisted of nothing but a bed, a shower, toilet and tv. The bed and pillows were really hard, which left me with a sore back and neck, there was literally NOWHERE to sit apart from the bed, no kettle or anything in the room, including even water.. I did see some fridges with cold drinks in reception, but £2.75 for a can of Fanta? Ridiculous. Yes it was convenient for the venue I was attending for a wedding, but would I go there again? Certainly not at that price!"

"Unfortunately for us we arrived later in day and upon returning to our room later that night we found our bed was unclean.Also we had opened wardrobes to look for more pillows to find the previous visitors used socks. Staff were helpful in moving room but not ideal circumstances."

"Only one small problem - no iron in the room - only a garment steamer was available which did not take out the wrinkles in my clothes. Plus no operating instructions were with it."

"The property does not have air conditioning, there are no phones in the rooms so if you have an issue or need something, you have to see someone at the desk. There were no washcloths in the bathroom. The beds were hard."

"It's in a great location, staff are great. Breakfast was pretty good considering the price. The room was good , very clean and a window that opened. Parking was next to the hotel . Walked to the anvil in 10 minutes."

"The room was nice, ive stayed before and the standards vary. But overall a lovely stay with a nice pool, jacuzzi and sauna for free with the stay. Free parking and comfy beds. "

"We recently stayed at this hotel after breaking down on our journey. Unfortunately, we couldn’t make our first night and phoned the hotel to explain the situation. The woman we spoke to didn’t seem very interested or concerned, and we were disappointed that nobody even asked if we were okay given the circumstances. When we finally arrived the following evening around 5:30pm, the staff there were friendly and welcoming, and the stay itself was pleasant. However, the lack of empathy and customer care during our initial phone call left a negative first impression. Overall, the hotel itself was fine, but better communication and understanding in situations like this would really improve the customer experience."
