"The pre authorisation is always a bit odd. Most hotels do it automatically but put a pre authorisation on your room if you want to charge anything. Bar service never as good as it could be but concierge team always excellent and in Davey’s absence his young apprentice JP was extremely charming and helpful . A unique hotel with lovely rooms"

"Hotel and staff were fantastic. The location is excellent. My only complaint is when we came down for breakfast Sunday at 8.45 they had no yoghurt left, even though there was almost 2hrs left of breakfast service. This was dissapointing, particularly for those who do not eat the English style breakfast and prefer fruit with yoghurt."

"Stayed many times so won't repeat except to say the food is always exceptional and the staff are super friendly/helpful. The Sauna and Jacuzzi were broken on this visit, which was a shame as I was only there one night. Improvements: The Front Door to the Hotel is SO heavy, could an automatic Power Door not be fitted? The Parking - Although Third Party needs sorting. The tarmac at the entrance as you turn of the main road is and in the Car Park itself has massive craters in it that will damage your car if this continues."
