Find hotels in Sol del Este from £40

The best areas to stay in Sol Del Este are typically along the main beach promenade or in the more secluded residential areas slightly set back from the coast. For families, the area directly fronting the main beach, Playa del Sol, is an excellent choice. This promenade is flat and easy to navigate with pushchairs, offering direct access to the sandy beach and calm waters ideal for children. You'll find a good selection of family-friendly restaurants and shops here, and the area is well-connected by local transport if you wish to explore further. Many accommodations in this zone feature amenities like swimming pools and kids' clubs.Couples looking for a more tranquil experience might prefer the residential areas just behind the main promenade, particularly those around Cala Serena. This part of Sol Del Este offers a quieter ambience with villas and smaller hotels located among pine trees. It's still within a comfortable walking distance to the beach and dining options but provides a more private setting.

The best time to visit Sol Del Este for pleasant weather and fewer crowds is during the shoulder seasons of May, early June, September, and early October. These months offer warm temperatures, typically ranging from 20°C to 26°C, which is ideal for enjoying the beaches and outdoor activities without the peak summer heat. The sea is also warm enough for swimming during these periods. You'll find the resorts and attractions are fully open but not as busy as in July and August, allowing for a more relaxed experience. For those looking for a lively holiday with all amenities and entertainment in full swing, the peak summer months of July and August are also excellent. Temperatures can reach up to 30°C or more, making it superb for sunbathing and water sports. However, expect larger crowds and potentially higher prices for accommodation and flights during this time.If your priority is a quieter trip with cooler temperatures, perhaps for walking or exploring the island's natural beauty, then late April or late October could be suitable.
