I had some concern that there was a customer on board with a severe nut allergy and it was stated that no nut items would be served on board during the flight. However I was still served a snack labelled “may contain nuts,” When I questioned this the attendant said it was fine. If the nut allergy was ‘severe’ and indeed serious enough not to serve nut products on board, I don’t think any risks should be taken. Very often allergies are not taken seriously and can have tragic outcomes. This was very disappointing.
