ARTIEM Carlos - Adults Only Hotel

"Location of the hotel is superb. Beautiful views. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The pool was enjoyable. We didn't use any of the other facilities - wellness room, gym etc so cannot comment on those. We booked half-board. The evening meals were only OK. Some evenings the choice was mediocre and potato-wise there was little variation over the week with little choice each day. The layout of the buffet was somewhat confusing with a lot of to-ing and fro-ing e.g. there was no butter etc near the area where the bread was at breakfast time and at one of the coffee machines there was no milk or sugar and you had to go through the whole area to get those things. The internal decor (in the corridors) is grey and rather uninspiring and there are few, if any, pictures etc to brighten up corridors or rooms. It felt a little functional in places. We hired a car and found a free parking area about 5 mins walk from the hotel as the parking fees at the hotel were very expensive (more over the week than the car hire!) We'd almost certainly look around at other options before booking at the hotel again."

"Loved this hotel. Love the location to get to multiple beautiful beaches. Also conveniently located near supermarkets and a few shops and restaurants. The hotel has an app which is great for ordering services and keeping track of your room charges if you eat and drink in the hotel. Nice pool although it is freezing cold. 30-35 minute drive from airport. We got a taxi which cost €50 and the hotel arranged our return taxi. Food selection is good."

"The hotel’s location is truly unbeatable. The views are breathtaking, and Cala Galdana Beach is absolutely beautiful. The beds were comfortable, and we really enjoyed the restaurants and the excellent breakfast. However, the hotel is beginning to feel a little run-down, particularly the guest rooms, which would benefit from renovation and modernization. Despite this, the incredible setting, comfortable beds and great food made our stay enjoyable."

"I have never loved a hotel more. The staff are constantly trying to make sure you have the best day of your life. The facilities are gorgeous, the room is comfortable and clean, the food is amongst the best on the island and the spa is top notch. I absolutely loved my stay and I will come back! Special thanks to the concierge also who went above and beyond for me! Highly recommend"
