The hotel is spotlessly clean, staff very friendly and give good advice of the area. It is a lovely walk into the town too. The food was exceptional everything of choice you could possibly wish for.

An absolute gem of a place, very tastefully decorated, with everything you could need for a short break. Within easy walking distance of town.

A superb stay. Very friendly. Lovely property in the heart of the town.

Great location for a place to stay in Shrewsbury. Abbey Foregte is close enough to the town centre for walking in, but quiet enough for staying. Parking was plentiful at the weekend. Room had everything you needed - plenty of tea & coffee, as well as corkscrew and wine glasses 😉. Would recommend staying here.

Fantastic hotel with lovely staff. Top quality and generous everything - food, furnishings, beautifully kept grounds.

The property was great. My party really enjoyed it. The only issue is that it was very cold when we arrived. I would suggest in winter having the heat on several hours prior to guest arrival. Otherwise, a great experience.

Me & my husband stayed for 2 nights & had a lovely time staff very friendly & helpful room nice & clean & very spacious breakfast was brill couldn't fault anything would recommend

I can't recommend Hawkstone Hall highly enough. The location is just stunning, as is the house. Yet despite the grandeur of the place, I never felt anything but totally at ease. The food was easily some of the best I've had, but if I had to choose one thing that really stood out about Hawkstone Hall it was the fact that every member of their staff was an absolute delight.

Property was beautiful. Fixtures & fittings high quality. Parking free and easy access into the Town Centre on foot.

It was a lovely property. A bit noisy at times between the bedroom spaces , with rooms not being very noise reductive, however this can only be expected in older properties pre- insulation techniques and in a town centre. The breakfast was lovely in a really comfortable room. Can not fault the staff and the rooms were extremely clean and the beds were comfy.

Really lovely hotel close to the station. Big room in a very interesting building

Small family run friendly hotel with excellent facilities for a small establishment. Lovely part of the country with access to towns not too far away and Welsh mountains close by. We enjoyed our stay

Staff were excellent, very efficient breakfast lady but, we couldn’t make her smile 😊. Our room was comfortable but the view was terrible, overlooking the back, the bathroom was the one of the best we have come across for the price, cleanliness was 5star, well done the chamber person. Breakfast again, served at your table with proper tea pot and milk jugs. We will certainly return and are planning our next trip soon. Thank you Prince Rupert well done 👏

Brown Hill Bed and Breakfast offers a truly enchanting experience, reminiscent of an idyllic escape into nature. The highlight of this charming retreat is undoubtedly its garden, which is nothing short of a whimsical paradise. The garden is meticulously landscaped, featuring a variety of vibrant flowers, lush greenery, and picturesque pathways that weave through the grounds. The setting feels like an angelic folly, with its ethereal ambiance enhanced by the presence of a serene brook at the...
