"The best hotel you will EVER stay in"
After travelling for over 25 hours we arrived at the hotel and we were greeted by an extremely friendly member of staff who took our baggage and led us to the individual desk where you check in. We were led to our room by another polite member of staff who asked us if we needed anything. It's worth noting here that you actually receive a silver key to unlock your room opposed to a card. The room was large with an amazing view. There's an ice bucket in room that is replenished every day, well stocked mini bar, robes and dressing gowns as well as complimentary bath salts and toiletries. The room amenities were second to none. We left the privacy button on one day and housekeeping rang our room to discuss whether we wanted it cleaning yet which was excellent. The staff themselves are on par with the room amenities. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they treat every guest like royalty. It was the most pleasant stay in a hotel I have ever had (and probably will ever have). I would highly recommend if you're staying in Tokyo to make this your first choice as you will not be disappointed

Pocket Guide: Shinjuku, Tokyo Romantic Hotels

This sprawling business, commercial, and entertainment center never lets up. It is a modern Japanese phenomenon with shopping arcades, flashing neon signs, stand-up noodle bars, and side-street video screens. Some two million people pass through the train station alone. Futuristic-looking City Hall offers a free observation deck with great city views.
