"This review considers the amazingly low price we paid (£40), compared to other availability in the area. We requested (and booked) a family room, on arrival, we were given two double rooms opposite each other. Not a problem for our 1 night stay, but it could have been. The rooms were warm and clean, and had been newly decorated, the bedding was clean and crisp. The breakfast was adequate, all self serve, tea, coffee, juices, cereals, packet meats and pastries. Only downside was the bed was very hard and uncomfortable for my wife and I. Great destination for a stopover during a journey or quick visit to Bamburgh and the surrounding area. "
