The cottage was perfect in every way

This was the best place we stayed in England. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. We bought oven ready meals and cooked them. Made a salad. Good times. Lovely garden in back overlooking Pub. It was easy walking to grocery and Pub.

Out of this world amazing time spent there

Enjoyable stay. Lovely town, everything within walking distance. Private car parking space was good, although a little tight. House was clean and owners to attention to detail was apparent to us. Everything well maintained and tidy. Clean bedding, towels etc. Would return to this house if in Seahouses again.

Great place to stay. In a great location for walking holiday and visiting local attractions. Place was kept in excellent condition. Lovely views of the hills and to watch the sun go down on a night. Nice bottle of wine left by the hosts for your arrival. Left to you own devices by the owners unless you had a problem. Would definitely stay again.

We had an amazing stay in an absolutely amazing cottage in a fantastic area, we will definitely be back and have already recommend this hideaway to our family & friends

Great property in good location. Clean and well presented. Host was very helpful. Would highly recommend.

A delightful rural retreat within 15 minutes walk to the centre of Rothbury.

Excellent location, an easy walk into Alnwick for the castle, Barter Books etc. Parking a bonus, and Lidl a very short walk away. House itself was very well equipped and well looked after with lots of space for our family of five with older teens. Loved the Sky Lounge for extra space! Overall the nicest place we stayed on our two week holiday, hands down.

It was clean and comfortable, they also supplied the towels and a very nice welcome pack. I would recommend this property to anyone holidaying in the area, we will certainly book sykes cottages again in the future.

Fanatic clean would recommend

Great property and very clean with great views. 2nd time we've stopped there and will return again no doubt on our next golf weekend Nice touches having, milk, tea, bread and butter supplied to you One very small ‘issue’ is with the swimming pool. Guests are able to put their names down and book slots, and it often seems like all the times are fully booked. However, the pool is usually empty during many of those slots, meaning that if you actually want to use it, you can’t because all the...

Owner was lovely. Easy to contact, little things there for our arrival. Perfect position for holiday. Thank you

The house was immaculately clean for our arrival and there was a nice welcome pack waiting for us. The house is really comfortable, very well equipped and a pleasure to stay in.

Property was clean and spacious plus amenities were very good. With kids the Wi-fi wasn’t great which was only down side
