"Huggins Cottage is one of the loveliest places we've stayed, and by far the best cared for. We were made to feel welcome every step of the way, from booking to leaving. Very thoughtfully equipped kitchen, and house generally, with very comfortable beds. Bookshelves included a wealth of information about the area. "We stayed at Lodge 2 for 40 days, January 22nd - March 1st although basic was pleasant enough, our view each day was wonderful, would definitely recommend, neighbours were friendly, not dog friendly enough though (needs a gate on decking) although our dog loved it, couple of minor niggles (toilet seat) which I tried to repair, owners are very accommodating and friendly, all in all a very pleasant stay."
