The sofa is stained and the carpets are in need of a clean/renewal. But we'd still come back again. The fittings are modern, the location is peaceful and local amenities are just a short walk away. "Short stay in Lake District, Windermere was a good base to explore. Property is very central and very cosy, perfect for accommodating 2 or 3 people. Cutlery dishes and mugs were not properly washed ( greasy); Parking is free, but quite challenging due to tight passage and little room for manouvering unless you have a small car. Beautiful scenery, and weather no too bad for Spring time so overall a very pleasant stay"

"It had everything we needed bedding etc was clean. The oven wasn't clean before we got there and toilet brushes needed throwing. Apart from that couldn't fault it it was lovely."

"Just spent 4 nights at this lovely cottage. The cottage was very spacious for the 5 of us and everywhere was very clean. Very high standard equipment with everything that we needed eg washing machine, dishwasher etc. The weather was pretty poor but the cottage was cosy to return to, and the log burner was brilliant. Laura was helpful with any queries we had, and left a welcome pack. Plenty of walks in the local area. 2 good pubs in the next village, and Kirkby Stephen less than a 10 minute...
