"V clean property, for us it was v good vakue for money, comfortable bed, large room, good kitchenette, large bathroom and good shower. TV could be bigger and table chairs more comfortable. Next time we would rent the upstairs room for a better view... We didn't realize it was possible to drive up to these. "

"We had a wonderful weekend, the house is lovely & it was so cosy with the fire burning during the evening. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. Plus a lovely gesture of wine & nibbles left by Rosemary was appreciated & enjoyed! The beds are comfy & the home feels welcoming. The gardens are beautiful & there are lots of places to sit & enjoy the sun. Communication with Rosemary was excellent, she was very helpful & answered my emails swiftly. "one downer was the fact the restaurant isn't open for dinner on a Saturday night, we had the weekend planned and dinner at this beautiful place was on the list, our fault for not looking properly? perhaps. we just assumed. luck of the draw with rooms, yes, all superior but some are better than others. needed to really look at the offerings and try to pick. saying that, we loved the room we were in it just wasn't the one in the photo we saw booking online. the dude at check-in and in the cellar door really sold the place with his enthusiasm (and his red hair) his recommendation was next time try for room. 28?"
