People come here to visit the natural attraction called blowhole - mind you, it's best when the sea spouts out the blowhole, because sometimes the sea is quite calm and you could go home slightly disappointed. You can also fish for salmon, squid and other sea creatures you'd like on your plate or simply bring your mat, picnic basket, sunblock and just enjoy the entire day doing nothing at all.

We had a wonderful stay at Shutters by the Sea. The room was spacious and beautifully furnished. The view out the sliding doors was spectacular and you could hear the little blowhole! A stocked fridge was very welcome!

Excellent location and great communication. Downside was that the linen was not fresh and smelt grungy. Cleanliness could be much better!

The property was lovely and quiet and about 5 minute drive into town. There are lovely walks to take and it is about 100meters from the property to the little blowhole.There lots of over places to see about 10 minutes to gerringong and a little further to Berry. We had a lovely time and would stay there again.

The owner is extremely thoughtful and helpful. The breakfast foodstuffs were fresh and high quality. The Bathroom was immaculate. Everything worked well.

This apartment is well appointed but smaller than expected. Bed comfy and good shower. Welcome drink and breakfast hamper were delivered about an hour after we arrived. The apartment is not within walking distance of any facilities or shops. Fridge does not have ice or freezer. Fire box was not working. No laundry facilities, and parking is on street. The building rubbish out the front needs to be removed as this is not a good first impression.

Its a very nice room, similar to a granny flat.

It was a lovely spot and the room was presented very well. Because of her work commitments we didn't get to see much of the owner, but it was still an enjoyable stay. The only negative thing I could find was negotiating the spiral staircase with our suitcases. For some reason I was expecting more of guest house style of accommodation (it was accurately described, but somehow I got that impression) and was a little disappointed at the cereal-type of brekky in the room. No big problem as we enjoyed eating out in Kiama.

Lovely place, quite new, good views.

Most pleasant experience. Host's attention to detail very pleasing. Quiet, sunny room with lovely views and excellent walks nearby. Great location, peaceful yet 5 mins away from all conveniences and plenty if eateries to choose from. Will definitely book again. Highly recommended.
