The hotel was hard to find/get to on our bikes and was much further away from the old town center than we had expected. However, the metro system was excellent. We didn't see any restaurants nearby so we didn't spend any time in the area of the hotel except to sleep. The storage area for the bikes was in the garbage room which wasn't pleasant but at least they were safe.
"Out of town but close to metro and easy to access "
The hotel was easy to get to. The staff were attentive. Facilities good. The breakfast was extensive and excellent. The area around the hotel had a few restaurants and supermarkets, a couple of bars etc. all in all, a really good value hotel. We would certainly stay there again.

Wanted an good economical place to stay while we saw the sites in Vienna. Hotel is within short walking distance to several forms of public transport. Only to a short subway ride to city centre. Only 15 minute walk to Schonbrunn Palace. Property served our needs very well. Only stayed for one night, but would use the hotel again in the future.
a very good hotel. their is a new fitness instead of the pool (we didn't know about it). good and rich breakfast.
we like everything. the room, the cleaning, the very good service at the reception. and the hotel is very close to the metro station.
one thing was Prominent- the service of the staff at the dining room - try to avoid and not to help and seems like suffering - never smile... easy to ignore it as guest. but not Inappropriate to Considered hotel.
If you're looking for a hotel with simple facilities, then this is the right one for you. It is conviniently situated 15 minutes away from the Westbahnhof train station with the 58 tram, and is also 6 minutes away from Hietzing U-Bahn station on Line U4, which reaches the city centre from here in 12 minutes. The hotel itself is very good. There is lift and stair access to the reception, which is staffed by lovely people, and also a very adorable parrot. The room I stayed in was very nice. The beds were reasonable, and the dining table provided was more than adequate. The bath was a bit small, but I couldn't fault the cleaniness of the bathroom and the room itself. It can be quite noisy from the street outside, but with ear plugs you can get a good nights sleep. Overall, the hotel is very reasonable, and very accessible.

Third stay at hotel -- probably last. Service is really bare bones. They should hire a nightwatch.
Reception (and main lobby) closed 21h-07h. Hence no possibility of wake-up call. Restaurant closed on weekends. Poor comfort in room; only very hard stool to sit on; armchairs in lobby are
better, but you are ousted at 20:55. Breakfast OK. EUR 13 for parking (secluded but neither
guarded nor access-restricted) is a bit a on the high side.
This bare bones service, probably motivated by cuts in personnel, is regrettable since the hotel
has quite a charming "fabrique" as an old factory, and is very well located (2 U-bahn lines nearby;
street cars, and easily accessible by car -- right on the Gurtel). Some effort in rethinking these details would go a long way towards making it a very attractive alternative.

We had a great experience at this 4 star hotel. As a family with 2 adults and 2 children, they upgraded our room to an apartment with no extra fees. They do that automatically for larger families if that apartment is available. We were lucky, and made our lives easier. Although small, the hotel has a parking behind the building, offers a very good breakfast (for extra fee), and is 3 metro stations away from the center (Opera where they have the main Hop On Hop Off location in front of the opera) and 3 from Schonbrunn palace. We actually walked to Schonbrunn and it took about 35-40 minutes with two small children.
The hotel staff were very friendly, speaking perfect English, and helped us with maps, advices for reaching places, and indicated a great restaurant nearby located in a very beautiful building. Great food too. The driving was not bad at all in Vienna, so overall we had a great experience.

We appreciate the proximity to transit access.
One of our rooms had nice quaint decor, even though we didn't stay long enough to enjoy it.
Room was a bit muggy in September, but with windows open, it was OK.
Didn't understand why the hotel restaurant didn't accept VISA whereas the hotel did.

This Viennese suburb is best known for being the summer residence of the Habsburgs. Dating from the 18th century, the palace contains nearly 1,500 rooms of dazzling Baroque and Rococo splendour. Vienna’s zoo and the elegant glass-and-iron Palmenhaus are also here and worth discovering.
