overall, this is a nice hotel. It was very clean and the junior suite was roomy with a separate powder room but the air conditioning system did not work at all in my room. I even called for it and they told me that's how it is! I had to ask for extra towels just about everyday. The front desk staff were not knowledgeable about any tours. In 5 nights that we were there we had only ONE tiny hand soap bar. The restaurant staff were very nice and helpful. The breakfast was good, you can even order from the menu at no extra charge.

Opulent and stunning yet understated and tasteful, this stay was a birthday gift to myself before moving to company-selected hotel for work. Its central location cannot be beat, and sound-proofing keeps it peaceful and serene once inside. With careful attention to design, aesthetics, lighting and environment in mind, this former bank is a one-of-a-kind piece of history. Staff were genuinely hospitable and service oriented; nothing fake or uppity. A few things went wrong, and they were apologetic and proactive in offering compensation. For example, I was granted access to the golden lounge and provided sparking water to work when my room wasn't ready. I was upgraded to a bigger and better room without extra charge when my original room became unavailable. The beautiful and humble Philipp dispensed advice when requested, arranged for luggage and fresh fruit to be moved, and also free breakfast the next morning for the inconvenience. Food via room service was absolutely amazing -- thoughtful, minimal and artful. No small portions and delicious. Topping off my evening was a soak in the bathtub, leaving me relaxed and sleeping incredibly well. I wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Is one of the best or even the best hotel I have ever been, everything is so elegant, upscale, the staff is amazing And for people who has gold or paltinum member, you will get an almost automatic room upgrade

What a great hotel. Wonderful location. Beautiful rooms. Great staff. Caroline (didn't get her last name sorry) gave us the best tip where to go for dinner. She welcomed me back for my second stay there like an old friend.

Our recent hotel stay was absolutely incredible. Every single staff member from the gentlemen waiting outside the hotel entrance, to the guys at the desk,to the ladies that cleaned our room,to the guys in the bar and restaurant were absolutely incredible. Their attitude and professionalism was spot on I can honestly write that it was worth every single dollar that we spent on our stay. It's been a very hard year for us and we couldn't wait to get away, and Sofitel Vienna Loft made our get away so perfect and relaxing so for that we thank you. Thank you for being such a great team.
