Every thing was good except the AC, fan is very weak, I checked 5 rooms , either u can't adjust the AC coz its automatic and not cooking , or adjustable but not cooling :((
Breakfast was good with variety , location is next to main train station& to main shopping street.
Staff are very helpful and polite.
Staff of restaurant were not nice.
Loved staying here! The location was good for us -- we enjoy walking, and were able to walk nearly everywhere we wanted to go. There are restaurants close by. The complimentary spa was AMAZING!!!! We reserved the spa for 10:00 in the evening -- perfect end to a day full of walking. It was about a 10 minute walk from the subway station to the hotel. The staff was very, very accommodating. The breakfast was very impressive and very good. Absolutely would recommend this hotel. The room (and hotel) was full of original artwork. Everything was so clean. The room was plenty big. Bath products were excellent. I am very picky about my rooms -- this hotel exceeded my expectations.
Comfortable, convenient and relatively inexpensive hotel. No beverage (tea, coffee, etc.) maker in the room. No restaurant or room service that we were made aware of. Slight problem with the plumbing(sink not draining well) which was not resolved while we were there. One rather abrupt receptionist. All in all not too bad.
"Amazing Grand boutique Hotel in shopping district"
Grand entrance, amazing chandeliers, great staff, amazing location, tonnes of shopping and restaurants, around corner from museum quarter, train ride from all other attractions, Easy to use train systems, beautifull lounge and bar, safe, rooms are beautifull but do not have air con, showers great, wifi good, supermarket (aldi) downstairs and so is Maccas, would recommend
Rooms was large and clean and bright. Good bed, very clean bathroom with shower large enough for 2!!!! Wi-fi , lobby bar, inside court, large breakfast room. Gluten-free available upon request. Grocery 2 min. Subway 4 min. 20min. Walk to downtown. (Circle) Staff very Nice & helpfull.
I wasn't sure what to expect from this hotel and I was pleasantly surprised.
Firstly, the room was huge! A massive lounge space with a couch, coffee table, TV, fridge, mini bar and a desk/dining table with 2 chairs. This could easily be made into a second bedroom which would be even better, even the addition of a sofa bed would be excellent. The bedroom is large and could easily fit 2 double beds which is what I would have preferred over 2 singles. Again, the bathroom is very spacious with a bath, large vanity and plenty of storage.
The location is also excellent and located right on Mariahilfer Strasse, one of the longest shopping strips in the city. Shops like H&M, Mango, Zara, C&A and plenty of restaurants and cafes. There's a lovely little bio market a few doors down (near the carpark entrance) that has plenty of organic, vegetarian and vegan groceries plus a little cafe.
The staff weren't the friendliest I experienced on this European trip but they always helped out when asked.
I will definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Vienna.
A very good location on a busttling thoroughfare, yet the room was cool and quiet, excellent to return to after hectic days of sight seeing, the staff were helpful, polite and the room immaculate, many thanks for a very pleasant few days
Pros: Location. I stayed in a shared bathroom; room and bathroom were clean.
Improvement: Stayed during a heat wave; they need to have fans in the room.
Overall, price was great considering the location.
Just southwest of Vienna's historical center, the Mariahilf district is home to the festive, sprawling Naschmarkt, an open-air market selling fresh produce from around the world, exotic spices, cheese, baked goods, meats, and seafood. Al fresco dining ads to the fun. Mariahilfer Strasse, the city's main shopping street, forms the district's northern border.
