"The cabin was the perfect base for my mountain biking adventure. Although small, there was ample room for all my gear - bikes stayed outside in the private front "yuard" with no fear of theft; the back-room shelves and front porch stored all the clean and dirty clothes and armor. The bed was oh-so-comfy, and the kitchen was perfect for meal preparation. Parking was easy, and again private. With the wonderful noise from the nearby waterfall, I could barely hear 550 or the trains. I slept like a baby, a happy baby! But the best part of my whole stay was my dealings with the owner Julie and her son Abe, who were both such gracious, down-to-earth, and friendly people. I highly recommend this gem for solo or couple travelers."

"This home was comfortable with several AC units. The kitchen had nearly everything we needed to cook. The half bath had a lot of beach towels for the hot tub. They had lots of items like laundry soap, dryer sheets, paper towels and toilet paper so we didn’t have to buy any. It was a lovely home with a great view!"

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location in Dalton Ranch.Very good service from VRC, check in easy, very responsive to questions and a maintenance issue.The general condition of the property is fair. The front walk is overgrown with plants on either side.The unbeatable views would be better if the the bushes on either side of the patio were cut back. They block the views to the right and left, many bees in the bush on the left.The grill is very old, rusted and sort of serviceable. Tried to grill three time, only able to light the grill twice. Need a new one.The armrest of one patio chair is unravelling, and all the cushions are very old and mostly ripped on at least one side. The sliding patio door needs care in opening and will not stay fully closed unless a stick is inserted in the track and against door.The layout of the townhouse is very good and the downstairs bedroom and bath are very nice.The property just need some TLC in order to receive five stars."

"Overall we enjoyed our stay at this property. It was a bit warm in mid June when we arrived and the house was quite warm. There is no AC. I think if host opened windows and adjusted the blinds it would have been more comfortable upon our arrival. I was advised to look for floor fans and only found one. The other days we were able to air it out and keep the temperature comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked, fridge/freezer very clean. The beds were very comfortable. There was no TV in the main sitting area. The balcony has awesome views and we enjoyed sitting out there day and night to enjoy the birds, scenery and stars. When we arrived the covers for all the furniture had been blown off and there was a coating of dirt/dust that I had to remove in order to sit and enjoy. Again, if host does a quick check upon arrival, this could have been avoided. Overall I give it a 4."

"This home was perfect for our extended family of 14 from ages 6 to 85! You couldn't find a more beautiful setting ... a flowing river on one side - which is the most relaxing sound - and a gorgeous creek on the other side... mountains in the distance. Our older kids spent time in the creek hanging out as well as playing horseshoes in the yard. We all enjoyed sitting in the backyard every night and looking at all the stars. The inside of the home was amazing. This is our first trip that each bedroom was quiet from the rest of the house - no one was woken up by people in the kitchen or great room. The kitchen was well stocked with anything you could actually need. All the extras were sooo nice too - kleenex, makeup remover, etc. We were close to town and were in a great location! I HIGHLY recommend this house!"

"We had a great time here. The location is great! The backyard was beautiful and peaceful. We sat outside a lot. The house had everything we needed, kitchen was stocked with lots of pots and pans and dishes! We were very pleased with how much room there was it was spacious. There were 7 of us and two dogs."
