The Brown Palace Hotel mixes classic elegance and charm with modern amenities and maximum comfort and service. This was possibly the most comfortable hotel rest I have ever had. The staff were very polite and helpful. A fascinating and unexpected bonus was the historical tour of the hotel conducted by a local historian. We loved our stay at this hotel.

This was our first time in Denver and we only planned on staying and exploring downtown over the 4th of July weekend. The location of this hotel is great, right in the middle of the action downtown. One block away from 16th street mall. We walked everywhere. We were in no rush for anything so the walk down as far as the Rockies stadium wasn't bad at all either. The hotel has some pretty cool little perks, they have a beer and wine hour every night and serve milk and cookies around 8 pm if I remember correctly every night as well. And our room was great, very comfortable. Cons for our visit was definitely our late check in, I think we got our keys to our room almost 2 hours after the check-in time. Granted it was a busy weekend, we were tired from exploring all day and just wanted to get to our room ASAP. Our biggest gripe would definitely have to be our daily unwanted wake-up by what we could only assume was staff throwing boxes/supplies around in a closet that had to be adjacent to our room. I was too tired every morning of our 3 day stay to actually get up and go out into the hallway to see who the heck was making all the noise.

While a nice place it is over rated and overpriced. There is no comfortable place to set in the room with one chair.
No fridge to keep cool drinks, or snacks.
The staff are excellent and tentative, restaurants and shopping surround the place which is a huge thumbs up- you can walk everywhere.

The stay was perfect except the fact there was no curfew for the children in the hot tub. We would go down at around 10 and there would still be children splashing around in it. That should be controlled more for couples trying to get away romantically.
