"The room was great but when we arrived, we didn’t know how to get into our room because there was no staff there and no instructions on how to get the key. I read all of the emails and if it wasn’t for another person staying there telling us where to go to get the keys, we wouldn’t have had any idea what to do. There was no signal on our phones so we could t call either. Also, a blow dryer would have been nice in the room. But other than that, the room itself was great and it was in a great location."

"It was a little tiny place we had to go to the sister Motel to get our key which was taped to the window and I was just a little weird for me but hey it's a small small town it worked we even got visited by a bear it was in the trash that the motel left out"

"Was a nice place, lots of character, room was clean. No real amenities aside from small expensive bar, which I suppose is to be expected in tourist town. However, the swamp coolers apparently not for cooling, as basically fan setting option only so we had to put fans in window to blow cooler night air in to try and cool room a bit. Also not personally a fan of the no tv concept, but that aside would recommend and would probably stay again. Think would be quite charming in winter."

"We enjoyed our stay in Silverton Colorado as much as we could. Our hosts were able to get us an early check-in at noon which was very helpful because my aunt was arriving via the train and was able to get out of the Sun and into our place. The house was well appointed it allows pets but unfortunately our little doggy had to be put to sleep a week before we came. There is no air conditioning and it does get a little warm from the hours of 6p to 9p. But cools down rapidly as the sun goes down. We did not spend much time in our Airbnb as we were very busy. The house is well located and just down the street from downtown amenities. Unfortunately both of our rental cars got flat tires and we had a great deal of difficulty getting any of the rental agencies to bring us a car. That required us staying a whole extra day. And luckily our hosts were able to accommodate us to stay another night,and even though this was super stressful knowing that we had a home base where we could call and receive cell phone calls helped a lot. If you are planning to drive anywhere outside of downtown Silverton I recommend something like a Jeep. I had a all-wheel drive Chevy Blazer and it got a flat as well. Silverton's a great town cool during the evenings but can be hot during the summer at daytime. I wish I would have been able to enjoy more the amenities but unfortunately I had to spend about a day and a half on the phone to get replacement vehicle"
