"Overall a good experience. We upgraded to a deluxe room as our original room had no a/c ( which I find odd for a modern hotel). The upgrade was definitely worth it; a bigger room, nice free minibar and Nespresso Vertuo coffee machine. The hotel was nice and quiet and had a relaxing feel. Staff were friendly if not super service minded however, this did not detract from the experience. Food selection was adequate but not mind blowing - the burger was very nice. The setting was lovely as was the surrounding area."

"We have spent a wonderful time at Tylnley Hall, with a warm welcome. Our dinner was amazing, with delicious courses served with a perfect pace that ended with a goergeous pavlova. The room was really nice even if I have been a bit too hor, where air con would have been welcome to my taste but I like sleeping chillier that others. We enjoyed a continental breakfast with fresh fruits and pastries (thank you for the service Georgie ❤️) all well presented and tasteful. And after that what's best than some tanning next to a warm swimming pool with clean surrounding and a present and reactive staff, allowing extra rest after check out. And before leaving, early afternoon tea with delicious and generous nibbles, scones and cakes. 24 hours when we felt looked after. Thank you again for this stay."

"I recently enjoyed an excellent stay at this beautifully redecorated hotel, and it exceeded every expectation. The rooms have been transformed with a stunning deco‑design style — modern, elegant, and incredibly comfortable. You can really see the care that’s gone into the refurbishment. One of my favourite parts of the stay was the outdoor seating area. It’s a lovely space to relax in the sunshine, perfect for a quiet drink or simply unwinding after a busy day. During our stay, we also noticed many couples enjoying a leisurely lunchtime meal outside. The dining room is another standout feature. Once the old function room, it has been completely reimagined and is now a fantastic, spacious setting for meals. It feels like the hotel is making much better use of the space, and it adds so much to the overall experience. The food itself was excellent, and serviced at the table with plenty of choices available at both breakfast and dinner. Whether you prefer something light or something more indulgent, there’s genuinely something for everyone. What truly made the stay exceptional was the team. Every member of staff was highly professional, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit. Their friendliness and willingness to help created a warm atmosphere that made us feel genuinely valued. A big thanks to Zak & Lou Lou for really looking after us. Overall, this hotel has done a remarkable job with its redesign, and the service is second to none. I wouldn’t hesitate to return."

"hotel was ideally situated. Parking was available at an additional charge. You could walk to the shops and restaurants. The cathedral was literally next to the hotel.Would stay again."
