Andover Museum and Museum of the Iron Age

Fantastic view of the cathedral from our room. However the room and hotel were a little tired. There were cracked tiles on the bathroom floor, and the bathroom light switch was in a dangerous condition…arcing at the slightest touch. There never appeared to be any staff available and the buffet breakfast…well, don’t bother paying for it! You can get a fabulous breakfast at one of the many cafes available nearby!

Amazing hotel, one of the best we have stayed at in the UK. The decor throughout was lovely including the bar area which we thoroughly enjoyed using in the evening. Monday night was especially good with an open mic night. It was fascinating to listen to all the musicians and lovely to meet such a friendly group of people. Breakfast was excellent and all the staff were very helpful and friendly. The position of the hotel is ideal for the beach and the town. We will definitely stay here again when we return to the Isle of Wight.
