We used the hotel as a base to visit the Bombay Sapphire gin factory which was very close by. A little off the beaten track but this hotel is of exceptional quality and it a bargain for the price we paid. VERY quiet and comfortable. Superb breakfast too. We'll definitely return!

What do you expect of an hotel in a services stop? It’s cheap and cheerful which is just what I wanted

A very comfortable last minute stay in this lovely pub. The rooms are very cosy and comfortable, the service outstanding and the food just delicious. The only thing I'd change is the plug and bright green fire escape lighting that illuminates the room too much for a good night's sleep. Overall a very lovely stay.

From the moment we checked in the whole stay was second to none, normally this is a one or perhaps two night stay but we had about a week there. The staff were so helpful and very courteous on all levels, the room was clean and lovely bath towels provided. We used the fridge and iron and there video choices, even the water provided was a welcome touch. The morning breakfasts were delightful and catered for everyone, staff exceptional even when busy. Staff were lovely. Had a long drive and arrived on the cutoff for ordering dinner, but thankfully the staff were kind enough to still let us order. We had both dinner and breakfast, both were absolutely delicious. There was some games we could borrow which we enjoyed playing in the bar, only small disadvantage is the bar closed at 10:30. Room was very clean, stocked with tea and coffee and the extra pillows in the wardrobe was a nice addition. Overall, we had a very peaceful, relaxing stay.

Fantastic new hotel with great facilities but no tea/ coffee or even a glass in the room so not great if you are thirsty!

Lovely stay, lovely food, shame the cellar chiller was a bit noisy

The room was very clean and comfortable and had all the little extras including ironing board and hairdryer as well as fresh milk for the tea/coffee provided. Also the all necessary toiletries. The staff were also very friendly and helpful.

Always a pleasurable stay. Being in the centre of Andover means there's plenty of places around to eat and drink. Rooms are good quality in general. It's an old building so do expect creaking floorboards and the odd small doorway, but decor is good, tidy and welcoming. Apples, bottled water, biscuits and tea and coffee making facilities all add up to make the stay pleasurable

Stayed here many times visiting family, lovely place all round - staff, food, drinks, rooms, seating area - all great, look forward to our next trip 👍

The room is very tidy and clean. I find the room seems newly renovated. It was a cold night and I have the heater on and the room warm up very fast. The room was quiet at night even it’s a Saturday night. Quite a different narrative to the receptionist warn me while check in. Probably my room is at far end and facing other side.

Excellent ! We will be back… we were stuck in traffic so ringing ahead, we were able to order food and they kept it warm. My partner, tired from a week in hell at work knocked her wine over..another appeared as if by magic. I had to make an important call … they, without being asked turned music down.wow. The staff are amazing, as are the rooms, bed, bathroom and food..we will be back ! Many thanks guys.
