"This place is amazing! We stayed here as a couple for 4 nights in May. We were given a conplimentary room upgrade because we were celebrating a special occasion, and we were able to add an extra night into our stay abd stay in the same room. We absolutely fell in love with the place. We were only supposed to stay for 3 nights, but added on an extra night and the staff kindly arranged it so that we could stay in the same room. The rooms are absolutely huge! We stayed in a superior deluxe room and it was 45msq! The room was beautifully and elegantly decorated and the bathroom had both a shower and a bath, plus his and hers sinks. The hotel and grounds are stunning and well looked after. The staff are professional and polite. This place is perfect for a romantic stay for couples. Not much to do in the immediate surrounding areas, apart from some country walking. However, the place is less than an hours drive from both Bath and Bristol. My only one fault from the entire stay is that the room didnt have a coffee machine. I think thats a must in 2024. I'd definitely stay here again. Keen to stay in the Henry VIII suite!"
