"Hotel was excellent! Location is steps away from the train station, very central. Hotel staff was exceptional upon arrival and services is outstanding. Room was very clean and quiet. Will stay again next trip to Edinburgh."

Apex Waterloo Place Hotel

"Though we only stayed one night the Apex Waterloo was a delight. We arrived in the early afternoon, way before check-in but we were upgraded to a two story accommodation that was available immediately (for which we were grateful after a long flight)! We were surprised to find air conditioning. Most hotels in Scotland do not have it and the summer days can get quite warm. The hotel location is perfect for sightseeing, shopping, and dining. We enjoyed cocktails in the lounge after our day of sightseeing and breakfast was wonderful. The hotel stored our luggage while we toured the castle and unfortunately, we did not have time to enjoy the pool or spa but we will definitely return! Thank you!"

"Clean, friendly staff, and while it is on Princes Street, the rooms are very quiet! It is extremely close to the train station and less than a 10minute walk to the Royal Mile. Great hotel!"

"Loved this location. a 15 minute walk or so from the heart of Edinburgh. The rooms were well appointed. I travelled with my son and nephew, both over 20 and we needed somewhere to stay for two nights. This was one of the few locations which could accommodate us in one room. The staff were super helpful and friendly. Definelly would stay there again."
