"For the price, not worth it. The hotel itself was fine. There were some annoying things that stood out though. For example, if you need to use a hair dryer, they provide one but there's no plug in the bathroom. And when you use it outside of the bathroom, there is no mirror with a plug nearby. We also had the front desk help us schedule taxis to take us to the cruise port. Beware...we waited for more than 30 minutes and only one taxi arrived (we needed two). After more than half an hour of waiting, I went to the front desk, which was not helpful. I was hoping they would at least contact the taxi company to check on the status of the second ride, but all they did was assure me that it was coming. After 45 minutes of waiting, I got an Uber instead. For such a high status hotel, I just expected overall better customer service. There's something about the front desk staff as well - they did not come across as very warm. They were professional and answered questions, but something felt missing."

"Breakfast was buffet with a few options but staff slow to refill when food ran out. No shower cap, vanity kit, etc in rooms. I hate using soap gel and the perfume was overpowering. Check in was a little stressful as staff were busy and not very attentive to our needs. We are also loyalty members and staff didn’t bother asking us until I pointed it out and then staff member said we’re not in system so we showed her our member number and tier… in other IHG hotels we are always welcomed with wine, fruit, etc, nothing here at Voco. Only plus was that this hotel was very close to cruise terminal but would prefer somewhere else next time."

"Recently renovated, every aspect of the property and design choices are exceptional. The dinner menu creations were inventive and delicious. However, our room No. 36 was without WiFi. (“Hotel WiFi not connected to internet.”) And you cannot adjust the room temperature using the thermostat. A+ regardless."

"Room ok could do with a upgrade. Bar staff need at least some training. Stood at bar for ten minutes waiting to be served blonde woman saw me standing there walked past me couple of times then another customer came in and she served him straight away i said excuse me I was next and she abruptly said that he only wanted a glass of water gentleman apologised but she still carried on serving him and chatted to him keeping me waiting. Myself and friends decided to vacate bar and went out to find another bar. Mainly as she obviously didn't want any customers to bother her. We Will not be booking another reservation at this hotel with attitude like this."

"Lovely property, beautiful location. Very comfortable bed, good parking and ev charging available. Room was quite hot (fan supplied but only a small window) and bathroom layout a bit awkward. Ensuring meals and drinks were correctly added to rooms was a bit disorganised - could do with a signing policy. Breakfast also a little chaotic, though a good choice."
