"Great hotel with pub and restaurant, in a tudor building from the 1700s. The staff were excellent, super friendly and gave me a lot of information about the area, things to do. Only drawback is that due to the age of the building there was a bit of noise from other rooms"

"This has been on my bucket list for some time. We had a wounderful 2 night stay and everything was perfect. The accommodation was spacious and comfortable, larger than alot of hotel rooms. You lay in bed at night and could imagine your travelling on a train. The meal was excellent, Beef Wellington to die for, so good and wonderful surroundings in a 1906 Pullman car exquisitely restored. The staff were brilliant and extremely helpful. Alot of history tied up in this place."

"The accommodation is very beautiful, with a fabulous garden. The location is great, lots to see and do. The local pubs and restaurants cater for all tastes.There's a local farmer's market at the weekend, lots of antique shops, many beautiful walks and several beaches to choose from.Jonathan was very welcoming and left lots of food, wine and bathroom necessities for all of us (including our dogs). His Garden is absolutely beautiful, our dogs explored and enjoyed it every day.Thank you so much, Jonathan, for everything."
"Warm welcome. Rooms not overly large, but very well appointed, decent sized bathroom, all requirements for a few nights stay, comfortable beds and linen.
Downstairs bar and restaurant area spacious and staffed by friendly, cheerful and helpful people. Food good with lots of choice. Outside courtyard plenty of room and good seating."
"Great stay! Was upgraded to nicer room on arrival. Comfy beds, lux bathroom, tea/coffee and fresh baked cookies - heaven! Walked to Amberley Black Horse pub for drinks & snacks (and board games) then back to hotel for their 5 course tasting menu - most enjoyable! "
