"I was going to visit the Brecon Mountain Railway and I needed somewhere close by to stay for the night. Luckily, I chose the Butchers Arms. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. The food was filling and tasty and I had breakfast looking across to the start of the Brecon Beacons. The beer was wonderful especially the Butty Bach (little friend in Welsh). "

What is the nightly rate for a B&B in Rhondda?
Prices for B&Bs in Rhondda often vary, but you can find a great deal from £48 with Expedia. All sorts of factors affect price, such as location and the time of year. It usually costs more to stay at Rhondda B&Bs over the weekend too. Travelers can find the best deals by being flexible with their dates, and by using our filters to sort prices from low to high.
When is the best time to book a B&B in Rhondda?
The best time to book a B&B in Rhondda is during the spring months of April and May, when the region comes alive with vibrant blooms and moderate temperatures. This period is particularly appealing for nature enthusiasts and adventure seekers who want to explore the stunning landscapes and enjoy outdoor activities. The mild climate, typically ranging from 10 to 15 degrees Celsius, makes it comfortable for hiking and cycling along the picturesque trails.

April sees a delightful mix of sunny days and fresh spring air, great for visiting the famous waterfalls of the Brecon Beacons National Park, located just a short drive away. This month is increasingly popular among travellers looking to immerse themselves in the natural beauty and rich history of the area, all while avoiding the larger crowds of summer.

For those seeking a quieter experience, visiting in December can be a lovely alternative. While it's typically cooler, around 5 degrees Celsius, the festive atmosphere and seasonal events add a unique charm to your stay. Enjoy the tranquillity of the Rhondda valleys adorned in winter splendour, and perhaps indulge in some local festivities.
