"The hotel is clean, had great vibe and interior design. Amenities include a small gym with good equipment and a yoga studio. Good was fantastic, great section for meat and non-meat eaters. Restaurant and bar staff very friendly and good service. Good selection of pools, just have to be up early for main pool ‘best’ beds, with canopies. Can’t fault the hotel but was disappointed with the reception service. We went for our honeymoon and pre-told the hotel. We weren’t given an upgrade like many couple we spoke to and like many reviews show. We actually were given a different room for the 1st night because our original room was broken. Meaning we had to move room the following morning and couldn’t unpack and relax the night of arrival. The room was bigger and reception made it sound like they were giving a complimentary upgrade (for 12 hours), though it was only because they had to and it actually gave us more inconvenience. As a ‘sorry’ we got given the same fruit platter and sparkling that we would have got anyway as it was our honeymoon. After that bad start the rest of the stay was lovely. "

We felt like the staff got to know our family and were very kind and ready to answer any questions and help with anything. The property itself was beautiful and well maintained. "Overall amazing experience. Very clean, food was varied and tasty. Only downside is the beach was close, but there is no sunbeds for free. You need to pay to rent the sunbeds, as they are owned by another hotel. Service in the hotel was very good and prompt, they were very helpful throughout our stay. Definetely worth it if you just want a couple days of relax and enjoying inside. "

"We stayed as a group of 8 (5 adults and 3 children) in August and had an amazing stay.Location is close to the town of Rethimno a couple of kilometres from the coast, so only a very short drive away (you can walk to the beach if you don't mind walking back up the hill!) Being on the side of a hill, you have amazing views across to the coast with uninterrupted sea views.The villa is large, so plenty of space to spread out both inside and out around the pool and barbecue area. The pool was large, warm and clean.It was very clean and very well equipped with all the kitchen and food utensils you could need.Communication was great in the lead up to the trip and the gift of some home grown fruit, homemade cake and homemade raki was a specual touch.We would thoroughly recommend."
