Located on a hill just a few minute's drive from the center of the city and its beautiful beaches, Villa Mare Monte is suitable not only for those who wish to relax in front of the pool watching the breathtaking sea view or enjoy sport activities on our brand new courts but also for those who are looking an ideal base for starting amazing excursions around the whole island !  
Villa Μare Monte is a truly unique holiday home with private pool, finished to the highest standard and located in the exclusive area of Tria Monastiria , just a few kms away from the beautiful city of Rethymno . Offering large gardens,tennis-soccer court , basketball backyard court , superb interiors, breathtaking views to the sea and the sunset, Villa Mare Monte is the perfect choice for a luxury holiday in Crete. Relax by the private pool, or enjoy the views while drinking a glass of local wine, or simply spend lazy hours sunbathing under the shining Cretan sun: this property will be able to amaze even the most demanding guests.  
Inside, the villa is set over 2 floors and has been built to the highest standard.  
On the ground floor there is a spacious living room with adjoining kitchen . Large windows and doors, provide ample lighting and easy access to the veranda, as well as pool and BBQ areas.There are comfortable sofas, satellite tv, wi-fi internet, dining table for 8, together with a fully equiped kitchen.On the ground floor there is also an office equiped with a multifunction printer for those who want to work remotely in their vacation , a modern decorated bedroom and a useful bathroom.  
Stairs lead up to the first floor, with 3 air-conditioned bedrooms and one large bathroom with Jacuzzi bathtub . All the bedrooms have big patio doors opening straight to furnished terrace providing amazing views over the gardens, the pool, the Mediterranean Sea and the sunset. On the upper floor there is also a laundry room equiped with a washing machine and a dryer .  
At the second floor you will find a luxury living room with amazing view to Mediterranean ocean view and a fully equiped kitchen .  
Finally at the loft you will find an air conditioned bedroom with a window with sea view and a second window with a mountain view .  
Outside, Villa Mare Monte is a true oasis within the beautiful Cretan nature ! There are plenty of mature trees, shrubs, flowers, paved terraces , gardens and and a playground for children. Spending long hours under the shining sun, or strolling around the gardens, will be a true delight! A dining area (table for 12 guests) with barbecue is available for delicious meals, and plenty of seating areas are available all around the grounds. The private swimming pool measures 40sqm (depth 1.5m) and is beautifully lit at night. Comfortable sunbeds are available for the guests to enjoy.  
Also you will be able to enjoy an exceptional tennis , basketball or soccer experiene on our brand new private courts .

#### Great House and Great Host 

The house was very big and very neat with a lot of activities to do while staying. Markos is a great host and took care of us at all hours. If you have any questions Markos replies to you very quickly. I highly recommended booking this house if you are staying in the Rethymno area. Thank you Markos

#### Super Unterkunft in einem schönen Ort

Die Unterkunft ist super schön etwas abseits gelegen und man hat hier seine Ruhe. Wir haben uns zu zehnt sehr wohl gefühlt und haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen! Wir würden die Unterkunft jedem weiterempfehlen, der Kreta bereisen möchte! Der Gastgeber Markos war extrem zuvorkommend und hat uns toll empfangen. Er stand uns während des Aufenthaltes jederzeit zur Verfügung und hat uns alle Wünsche erfüllt. Einfach top!

#### Nog mooier dan de foto’s

De villa ligt op een berg met een schitterend uitzicht over de zee. Wat niet op de foto’s staat is de grote huiskamer met een enorm terras met weer een schitterend uitzicht. Eigenlijk het mooiste deel staat niet op de site. De verhuurder is zeer attent en snel met zijn reacties. Al met al een toplocatie en een topvakantie.
