"A fantastic place to visit going back in time x we had our wedding reception and honeymoon there 30 years ago and we have been back to celebrate our Pearl wedding anniversary the staff the good the venue were excellent "

"Perfectly located for strolls around Durham: Up to the Durham Cathedral, Durham Castle, Durham centre with restaurants, shops and cafés, less than 10 minute walk away. We paid slightly more for a premium river view walk and we did not regret it. Perfect view in the morning and dusk of the world passing by. Loved walking along Durham riverwalk. Highly recommend but would recommend you get dropped off if possible as parking is not free and can stack up if you’re staying more than one night. "

"Stayed for just 1 night while travelling but very pleased we chose Hall Garth Hotel. We arrived later in the evening but went to the bar and the atmosphere was great with a 90s themed party for residents in the adjoining room. The bed was comfortable so we slept well and had a great full English breakfast in the morning. "
