"Really great arrival and welcome from the property manager who patiently dealt with our inability to speak French and managed to give us a detailed tour. Incredibly friendly owner who had a genuine interest in our safety and enjoyment…and as for the property…wow! Amazing! A bargain and it feels a lot bigger than in the photographs when you’re actually there which was perfect for our big family of 12!"

"Property was lovely, quiet and well appointed. There is one very large bedroom and two medium sized bedrooms. All have adjoining bathrooms. As Americans we found the lack of doors on the bathrooms a little odd, but manageable. Only other consideration is that property owner/manager doesn’t speak any English and hasn’t had any instructions written in English. So, if a non French speaker, bring a translator app."

"In a very quiet area and a very short walk to a lovely beach.Even though the road is behind the beach you really don't notice it and the quality of the sand and cleanliness of the beach is excellent. We visited in June so it was still relatively quiet. Set in a calm and tranquil neighbourhood, this was everything we wanted for the perfect holiday break. The presentation of the property was excellent and had all the things we needed. We have stayed in Sainte Maxine a number of times, and although the location doesnt have a view like other properties we have rented, it is quiet yet close to the town and beach, but be prepared for a steep walk back. But for this house to have a 5 stars rating, it would need the following: 1. Heated pool. Be careful about this one as the listing mentioned that the pool was heated. It is not! 2. A faster internet as we now always work remotely. The internet was abysmally slow. Not acceptable. 3. A TV a bit bigger in the living room than a simple computer...

"The house feels like a proper home, has good quality interior and the kitchen is well equipped (and there is a Weber electric decent size BBQ in the garden). We were 6 adults with a 2 year old and a 5 year old and it didn't feel overcrowded.
