"Beautiful peaceful setting but within easy reach of local facilties.A perfect space to entertain in. Kitchen was very well stocked. Bedrooms were very comfortable and ensuites really made for a lovely stay.Garden had lovely entertainment areas.We mastered the Aga using the instructions left and with the added bonus of keeping the barn warm in the mornings and evenings."

Our five kids ranging from 9 to 17 enjoyed the pool, the gardens, the gym, the pool house games and the movie room. Many sitting rooms to sit as a family or to find solitude. "Fabulous property, like a real-life Weasley Burrow, hundreds of years old and naturally higgledy-piggledy as a result but very well and sympathetically updated. 2 families with teens/tweens all comfortably accommodated with ample space. Very plush, warm and clean. Although close to Saffron Walden and Stansted, you wouldn't know it: it was silent at night, and you truly felt secluded and cossetted in the 1800s.
