"Very nice b and b room with ample parking and ideal location for where we needed to be. Good was excellent especially the full cooked breakfast. The staff were polite and helpful. My only negative was that the tables in the restaurant side could have been cleaned, they were a bit crumby and could have done with a wipe over. But apart from that a very pleasant one night stay."

"The staff were all very friendly. The pub restaurant was very nice and the food was very tasty. Breakfast was great. They have a well stocked bar and nice areas to sit inside or outside in the pleasant courtyard. The pub is located in Old Harlow and parts of the pub date back to the 14th century which makes it very charming. The hotel accommodation is adjacent to the pub and has nice rooms, good facilities and a large carpark which is free of charge. We stayed 2 nights in July during a heatwave and the room did get very hot despite a fan being provided so I have taken off a star. Otherwise a brilliant place which if it had air conditioning in the rooms would have earned a 5 star review."
